Naughty Dog is known for planting secrets in its games, which are often self-referential in nature. It’s no wonder, then, that there are quite a lot of The Last of Us Part 2 Easter eggs tucked away in the studio’s latest blockbuster. I won’t divulge a huge amount here, as it’s often nice to discover Easter eggs on your own, purely by chance. However, a couple of well-known The Last of Us Part 2 Easter eggs are already doing the rounds on Reddit, so I’ll share them in a minute. Naturally, if you don’t want to know about any The Last of Us Part 2 Easter eggs, it’s probably a good idea to switch to another article — or you could check out our The Last of Us 2 guitar covers in the video embedded below. So, Easter egg time. Over on Reddit, one user came across a neat little PS Vita with Hotline Miami running. They actually grabbed their real-life Vita and matched the level to the one showing in-game — Neighbors. Check out the post below. In an Easter egg that’s a little closer to home, another player found a dusty old PS3 with an Uncharted 2 case next to it. It’s not the first time Naughty Dog has done something cheeky like this — Crash Bandicoot was actually playable on an in-game PS1 in Uncharted 4. Obviously, there are lots of other The Last of Us Part 2 Easter eggs that players have already discovered. These two stand out as particularly interesting, though, in that they’re pretty clear homages to PlayStation — Hotline Miami on the beloved but ailing Vita — and Naughty Dog’s previous iconic titles. If you’ve been following the news, you probably already know that The Last of Us Part 2 has been review bombed on Metacritic.
